 아무 생각없이 살기

 진정한 행복은 내면으로부터 오는 것이다.

 진정한 고통은 외면에서 온다.  돈, 명예, 다른 사람의 평가 이런 것들이 고통의 시발점이다. 그러니 다른 사람들에게 이런 것을 강요하는 것도 고통을 가하는 행위이다.

 가치를 추구하라. 그것이 일시적인 것이라고 해도, 가치 있고 올바른 일에 힘을 써라. 사회적 보상은 있을 수도 있고 없을 수도 있다. 차라리 그런 것이 없는 것이 고통을 줄이는 길이다.
